Martin Giles is chairman of VSC Fire & Security whose roots date to 1958.

Over the years, Giles expanded the businesses' geographical footprint from Maryland to Florida and bought other companies. The various companies operated under their individual names. But that changed last year when Giles changed the name of his companies to VSC Fire & Security.
