AFSA presents 90-minute virtual seminar on Contractor Management
Popular “Contractor Management and the 21st Century” seminar offered again

Dallas, TX–A huge success at the AFSA Annual Convention in September, the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) will again offer the popular seminar entitled “Contractor Management and the 21st Century” on Thursday, December 7, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time. The 90-minute virtual seminar will be presented by Charles "Charlie" Brown, CIO of Telgian Inc and its subsidiary companies, and Russ Leavitt, President and CEO of Telgian, Inc.

This seminar examines the types of systems available and the challenges of making the conversion to system driven processes for your business. This information is for you, no matter the size of your business. As contractors, we are no longer in the 20th century. CRM, MPS, IVR, Electronic File Storage, E-bids, and other foreign sounding acronyms and phrases dominate the language of business. If a contractor is to be successful in today’s business world, becoming conversant and adopting systems for estimating, sales, and project management are a must. An ever-increasing number of owners, developers, and general contractors are requiring sprinkler contractors to use sophisticated management tools.

Don’t miss the opportunity to learn important details about changes in management tools and earn 0.15 CEUs. You may also earn 1.5 CPDs if applicable to your skill level as determined by NICET. Cost is $105 per connection for members of AFSA, $145 for non-members, and $35 per additional listener for CEU/CPD certificate. Each connection includes one individual’s CEU/CPD credits; additional credits may be purchased for a nominal fee. The virtual seminar services are provided by KRM Information Services, Inc. To register, visit www.firesprinkler.org, contact Kristina Sumrall at 214-349-5965 ext. 132 or email ksumrall@firesprinkler.org.

How Does a Virtual Seminar Work?
AFSA’s virtual seminar allows you to participate in this valuable information exchange and receive CEU/CPD credits without ever leaving your office. For only $145 per connection ($105 for AFSA members), you can join in using an 800 phone number to get connected. And, you can have many people listening in your office for the price of one. (There is a nominal fee for additional listeners receiving CEU certificate.) The instructor’s interaction with you, the listener, will make this program enjoyable to listen to, and you can ask questions from wherever you are. (Touchtone phone required.) This feature is very much like participating in a talk radio program. You will receive the PDF file presentation a couple days prior to the seminar. You can also print the PDF file presentation and make as many copies as you need for note-taking.
